deployment - Deploy Rails app anywhere -


how can deploy rails apps anywhere in world (including shared hosting http://www.moxo.cz/)? tried heroku, had problem moving dev db. found mod_rails , seems can put app on mydomain.net/railsapp it's impossible deploy on shared hostings. if built rails app client how deploy on "plain" hosting or anywhere else? have no experience , it's getting desperate.

heroku easy option. in plain server have ruby stack preinstalled, provider should provide documentation it, if don't have stack preinstalled have install stack lot of effort.

i recommend try again heroku, post problem here in so.

mod_rails plugin easy use when have al stack preinstalled , preconfigured. ec2 option this. although not simple written, have find , use preconfigured stack not problem.

i suppose have provider in mind, general flow.
