so, builk of app grid forms, various tasks associated rows in grid, , other tasks span many different lists, , 1 or 2 sundry tasks create or remove lists. 'conventional' file|edit|view|tools' menu based main window belongs when people happy pretend wrote 'document' processing apps compete today's cms , word processing systems.

my file menu have 1 command, 'exit, , think know mean others well. if point me toward nice gui more suited processing data, grateful if give me few pointers how tie several data based forms unified ui.

you try using new ribbon style interface.

if happy using wpf comes ribboncontol library in .net 4.5 can use implement better menu system. allow have visual aids adding rows, saving changes, printing etc.
