trialware - Extend trial period of a software -


this question has answer here:

i curious how applications know if trial period over. if uninstall software, , reinstall it, how can software know if trial period on ? simple tricks changing date , time futile.

the question simple. possible ways application know ?

thanks in advance.

there registry values written in windows registry including dates installation , other details. not sure want do. after uninstall software, registry values application left in registry. answer question, application uses registry entries know trial period has expired after remove software , try ti re-install.
