ruby on rails - Nokogiri Gem Error Mac OS X Snow Leopard -

i searched around stack overflow , read few web pages , tried out method nokogiri website macports , homebrew, still nothing.

gem install nokogiri error: while executing gem ... (errno::eacces) permission denied - /library/ruby/gems/1.8/gems/nokogiri-1.5.9/.autotest

so, had use sudo command see if install it.

it looks libxml , libexslt included in mac working while libiconv isn't. give perspective, trying use rspec, had errors capybara, not possible because nokogiri not working.

thanks has suggestions. said, homebrew didn't work - , don't plan on re-installing os because installing rails 3 quite annoying in case.
