caching - Files are not changing when I update them via FTP -


i made changes css file, uploaded , saw no change. cleared browser's cache, repeated process , still nothing. tried browser , experimented other files - same result.i deleted css file altogether - website still looks same , can still see files in browser's console.

i can results if change file names altogether (which inconvenient). dont think there issue ftp overwriting file there no errors in filezillas logs.

is there way website can cache self? know why occurring?

i tried in cpanel's file manager , viewed on pc - same result

squid , other web accelerators sit between hosted server , browser. although supposed invalidate caches when backing file changes, information isn't sent specification or acted on properly.

indeed, there can multiple caches between , server each of has chance of hanging onto old data.

Automatically create pages in phpfox -
