datastore - vSphere iSCSi not support VM Cluster? -


i'm building virtual machine cluster using vsphere 5.1.

i'm finding solution data storage.

i want iscsi when see information on vsphere documentation see iscsi vsphere don't supports "vm cluster" supports ha , drs. known ha enable when create "cluster (host cluster)".

i don't know "vm cluster" what.

please me explain different of "vm cluster" , "host cluster".

a "vm cluster" cluster of 2 virtual machines running windows mscs example. "vm cluster" run on esxi hypervizor hosts, or "host cluster". "host cluster" cluster of 2 or more physical machines running esxi.

the table found tells you can't form of vm clustering when using native iscsi (the esxi iscsi initiator) on esxi hosts.

you can host clustering using native iscsi. no problem. don't vm clustering when use native iscsi.

Automatically create pages in phpfox -
