it litters app nonsense file open , save, edit- copy , paste, etc. if i'm trying build better notepad, can have multiple confounded text files open @ once. business apps use database , forms. surely 2013 ms have created project template useful application.

are there third party project templates out there cater non-delusional development scenarios? devexpress's xaf projects etc? use if not cost prohibitive me.

yes, 2013 , microsoft have project types business applications. won't find them in windows forms templates. microsoft not investing time or money in changing winforms. see in winforms templates circa 2005.

that's not microsoft doesn't have project templates cater business developers databases.

the places in other project types (for example)

  • asp.net dynamic data
  • lightswitch

if want stick winforms, might check online section of file\new\project dialog other template types.
