q - why sliding drawer deprecated in api level 17 ?

i have been reading @ many sources not find appropriate answer. same question asked here : slidingdrawer deprecated got no proper answers.

why? me it's pretty clear why it's deprecated - doesn't go holo , feel.

Automatically create pages in phpfox -
