android - How to check for widget Home screen -


i want check whether user facing widget homescreen(ie widget placed) or using other screen .ie may playing game or texting or else..if user on other screen don't want execute code..

for instance clock widget doesn’t need run once minute if it’s not visible on screen. in order cut down on battery drain nice if home screen widgets informed of visibility

this not possible in reliable fashion. there a long-standing issue provide ability this.
